Corn tortilla was the main dish of the Mexican indigenous people, Aztecs. This is still daily bread in Mexico and a base for many traditional dishes such as tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas. Today tortillas are becoming very popular in Europe. Nowadays all people heard about the tacos, but no one knows how a real Mexican taco looks like. It consists of corn tortilla filled with various ingredients, such as meat, beans, vegetables, seafood, etc. The only tacos with wheat tortillas are called Tacos Arabes. Sometimes people ask us, why the corn tortillas are not from Mexico? We answer - because we want to sell to our customers the best Real Mexican products, healthy and tasty. Tortilla is a mexican bread. In Mexico they are selling mostly fresh tortillas with a week life shelf. When you need to bring tortillas to Europe It takes around 1-2 month to be delivered by ship, also you need to import a lot, so the cost of delivery was ok. So to be able to sell that amount the imported tortillas from Mexico should have at least 1 year of life shelf. Imagine how many additives those tortillas need to have so the product arrives in ok condition. Also there is a high risk that the tortilla might have been done from GMO corn, since it's not forbidden in Mexico.That's why our tortillas are produced in Spain or Germany, but with a RealMexican traditional recipe. We order our tortillas almost every week, so our customers can always enjoy fresh product. Eat smart! :)
