Chipotle is used dried or marinated in brine with tomato paste and spices. If you are not particularly fond of spicy food, you can add 1-2 drops of the marinade to your favorite dish for a subtle flavor. If you like your food hot - add more chili. However, be careful if you intend to cook something with the adobo sauce, heating it makes it stronger.
